REOPENING VIDEO

HELLO DANCE FAMILIES!
This is in place of our monthly Newsletter, because it so exciting to bring you all this news!!!
We have opened on MONDAY, MARCH 15th started conducting In-Studio classes. If you decide to come, here are some general rules:

IMPORTANT FIRST STEP
FILL OUT THE COVID RELEASES AND SIGN
THIS FORM NOW
A.) You must bring your child, in their own mask to wear throughout their class.
B.) If you feel sick, have a cough, or feel slightly under the weather, you cannot participate in classes inside the studio.
Your Procedure for In-Studio Classes
1.) The entrance has been moved to the back door due to us not wanting parents inside the building, as well as providing a larger classroom for our dancers. Your dancer should be dropped off at the back of the studio and then enter through the Studio B back door, which has an open air type roll up wall. This is great, because there is fresh air coming in from outside. Please refer to the Map included with this letter. You will be able to drive around to the back of the studio to bring your child to Studio B.

2.) Your child will be met with a hand sanitizing station, as well as having their temperature taken, with a no-contact thermometer. If temperature reads 100.4 or above, your child will be considered to have a fever, and will not be permitted to participate inside the studio. This is for the safety of all, as well as the restrictions given to us by the local authorities.
3.) Please have your dancer completely dressed, as we will not be having anyone using the bathroom for anything except to use the toilet and wash hands in a timely manner. Please do not have your dancer bring toys, dance bag or water bottles to class. Dance shoe change, will be done by parents at the edge of the dance floor, who are masked. We are doing everything possible, to prevent cross contamination in our studios, as well as trying to prevent spreading the virus to others or contaminating our studio surfaces. We are aware that some may not agree with our policies and procedures, and we respect your right to not have your child attend classes in the studio. We hope that you can understand that we are only trying to keep all of our children, parents, as well as our staff healthy and safe.
4.) Once your child has completed all of the steps discussed above, they may enter the room, and an instructor will appoint your child to a taped-off dance square where they will be able to enjoy their in-studio class experience!
5.) When classes have finished, your child will leave through the same way they entered at the back entrance.

6.) In between classes, our staff will ensure that the rooms have been sanitized and cleaned.

Scheduling of " In-Studio Class Participation
Unfortunately, due to restrictions placed on capacity, each class will only be allowed 10 dancers at a time.

UNFORTUNATELY, WE MUST INCREASE THE TUITION TO $65 PER MONTH, FOR ALL STUDENTS, BECAUSE OF THE SMALL CLASS SIZES, IN ORDER TO STAY IN BUSINESS.
NEW STUDENTS MUST ALSO PAY AN ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE OF $25 PER CHILD.

RECITALS
When we think it's possible, as well as safe, we will likely be renting an outdoor stage venue in the Summer, (Much better than indoor closed auditorium) where we will rotate audiences for each class individually.
When we begin to get back to a somewhat normal world, we will begin the Recital process once again.
When this happens, the process will most likely be as follows:
Audience members, will be spaced into family groups, to watch their children perform their dances, with full costume and make-up. They will be spaced far enough away, to follow Social Distancing. During the performance on stage, dancer masks will be required.. We are taking everything one day at a time, because that is all we can do. Aside from all of the details, we are so excited to see everyone!
THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU, WHO HAVE HANG IN THERE WITH US THIS PAST YEAR!
WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND LOYALTY!
NOW LET'S GET BACK TO IT

At Miss Becky's Ballet ~ Tap & Jazz, we’ve been helping the Long Beach / Signal Hill community educate dancers on the dance floor since opening our doors. Our goal in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines, is always to instill a love of dance, to all who enter our doors. We have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer.
We have been dealing with the hard realities of the pandemic for the past year, and are happy to reopen our doors, for in person classes.
